Embark Learning Care Academy has successful Ofsted report

Embark Learning Care Academy’s recent Ofsted inspection has been positive, with the inspector impressed with the progress the training provider has achieved.

Embark Learning Care Academy is an established training provider, which helps carers, new or fully qualified, achieve nationally recognised qualifications and has done so with great success for the last 10 years in the West Midlands.

In the report provided by Ofsted, it stated that “Leaders demonstrate a clear rationale for the curriculum they offer. They have focused the curriculum on health and social care, their sector of expertise. They are clear in their intent for the curriculum to have a positive impact for both learners and employers”.

The inspector also focused on the continual improvement of the courses provided: “Managers regularly review the curriculum through robust quality assurance processes that monitor progress and pay close attention to feedback from learners when setting targets to improve the curriculum.”

Operations Director, Alex O’Neill, said: “We’re over the moon with the results and feedback from our Ofsted inspection. Our trainers put a lot of work into building the curriculum and ensuring that there’s an even spread of practical and technical knowledge passed along to learners, so that they’re fully prepared when they enter the world of care.

“It’s vital that the people who come through our course is completely confident in their abilities when they go into employment because it’s an extremely important job they’re taking on, which is why we put so much time and effort into the course and we’re pleased that Ofsted agree with its effectiveness for training the next generation of carers.”
