“We have exciting plans for Fairway to develop capacity to deliver 10,000 hours of care per week across the West Midlands and Shropshire. At the core of those plans is the strategic partnership with the Embark Learning Care Academy.
Since we started working with Embark to develop a self-grown workforce some 8 years ago, the project has flourished and is now the key source of recruitment and workforce development. We are proud of the fact that almost 70% of our health and social care team are products of the care academy and the fact that many have gone on to work within the head office function, developed careers in training or gone on to complete Level 2 and/or Level 3 diplomas is fantastic.
To be able plan with confidence that we can upscale our capacity and skill set gives us a significant advantage in the market.
