When celebrities come together for a good cause, magic happens!
Embark Learning and Fairway Healthcare had the pleasure of attending the Lord’s Taveners Christmas Lunch to support a Youth charity empowering young people through cricket and creating opportunities that can change lives. With fantastic host Gary Newbon leading the way, it was incredible to witness the impact that celebrities and charity can achieve together.
It was such a great afternoon meeting humble celebrities like television Sports presenter Gary Newbon, David James former England, Villa and City goal keeper (made me look like a Hobbit standing next to him then we had to swap places! lol). Don Goodman Sky Sports presenter and former Wolverhampton and Albion striker. John Eustace former great Bham City Manager, Chris Woakes England and Warwickshire cricketer and Derek Redmond British gold medalist who had the famous injury and father came on the track to support over the line, very emotional.
Overall a wonderful afternoon with some fantastic celebrities, colleagues, food and more importantly a great charity.
Congrats to our Head of Operations Eyad who won a heads and tails game winning a weekend stay at Hotel Du Vin kindly donated by General Manager Arron Wincott. Two tickets to watch Stewart Lee at the Symphony Hall and Cirque du Soleil at Utilita Arena kindly donated by MD Guy Dunstan and Nick Loveland. It was definitely for a great cause! Thank you all.
